Griptop Cove Pack Seal effectively seals the semi-porous Griptop Cove Pack providing a coloured seamless hygienic wall and floor system.

Coverage

Approximately 3 - 5 m²/kg/coat onto the Griptop Cove Pack.

Storage

Store at temperatures between 5°C and 30°C.

Shelf Life

Approximately 12 months if stored in unopened containers and under good conditions.

Technical Information

The Griptop Cove Pack Seal does not need to go onto a primed surface.

MIXING 

Mix the aggregate with resin component thoroughly to form a paste like consistency then add the hardener and continue to mix.

Never mix Griptop Cove Pack Seal by hand as this could lead to areas of uncured material.

APPLICATION

Once mixing is complete, apply immediately by brush or roller to form a smooth, even coat. No later than 24 hours later apply a 2nd coat. Do not apply too thickly as this can lead to a reduced cure speed and inconsistency of colour and gloss. 

WORKING TIME

Griptop Cove Pack Seal has a working time of approximately 15 minutes at 20°C.

Never leave the mixed Griptop Cove Pack  Seal kit to stand for any length of time prior to application as this will considerably shorten its working time.

Once mixing and application are complete, tools can be cleaned with a suitable solvent.

CURING TIME

At 20°C, Griptop Cove Pack Seal should be touch dry in about 24 hours and allow 5 days before exposing it to chemical contamination (consult our Technical Department for details of curing times at other temperatures).

WORKING CONDITIONS

Griptop Cove Pack Seal should not be applied at temperatures less than 10°C.
